The Optics and Photonics International Congress (OPIC) 2025

Since its inception in 2012, OPIC has been held every April at Pacifico Yokohama, and has established itself as an important international conference originating in Japan, with new specialized international conferences being added every year and the number of participants increasing. Currently, OPIC consists of specialized international conferences covering a wide range of fields, including lasers, biomedical, nanophotonics, metasurfaces, optical metrology, optical manipulation, X-ray optics, IoT, displays and lighting, high energy density science, power transmission, space and earth science, and agricultural photonics. At OPIC2024, a total of 956 papers were presented in the general conference and 16 specialized international conferences. There were 1,336 registered participants, spread across 46 countries, and 35.9% of the participants were from overseas.
