To promote and celebrate The World Quantum Day om April 14th the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom is running an online outreach event focused on raising awareness of the transformative power of quantum computing. The event is aimed at people who have enquired about one of our Computing Science degrees, people who have applied/been made an offer.

Participants will have the chance to computationally experience first-hand some of the exciting phenomena of the quantum world such as entanglement, superposition, and many more. Furthermore, participants will get an understanding of how quantum computing advances and algorithms can be adapted to enrich and further progress existing classical computing problems.

The event is an opportunity to learn, and build networking and collaborative relationships.

The event will be delivered by Dr. Kamaran Fathulla, Department of Computer Science.
