The Science Math Resource Center (SMRC) and Applied Quantum Core at Montana State University are offering World Quantum Day kits and expansion packs (for last year’s kits). Our goal is to help educators and youth engage with quantum science through fun STEM activities to use on or around World Quantum Day. No teacher experience in quantum science required!
The kit will include:
- resources about quantum science
- a banner to hang at your school and other fun items for your class
- lesson plans and materials for your class, including all supplies needed
The supplies and equipment are yours to keep and use again.
Activities are designed for grades 6-12. Plan to use your kit on or near to World Quantum Day on April 14, 2025.
A short feedback form is requested at conclusion of the project. We also request you submit an artifact such as photos, video clips, student reports, artwork or other artifacts from your World Quantum Day celebration.
Montana Educators and youth leaders are eligible to apply. Application deadline is March 16, 2025.
For questions, contact QuantumEducation@montana.edu.
SAVE THE DATE: An online training will be held (and recorded) on Tuesday, March 25 from 4-5pm.
