The field of quantum science and technology now represents one of the most active areas in physics today. IOP Publishing, as one of the leading societies in physics, is honored to be involved for delivering impact, recognition and value to the scientific community in quantum. Besides publication (https://iopscience.iop.org/nsearch?terms=quantum), scientific news (https://physicsworld.com/page/1/?s=quantum), we also organize workshops/webinars, e.g., the international online workshops ‘Quantum 2020′ (https://www.iopconferences.org/iop/frontend/reg/thome.csp?pageID=978476&eventID=1552) and ‘Quantum 2022′ (https://ioppublishing.org/news/announcing-quantum-2022-an-international-online-workshop-taking-place-on-22-and-23-october/).

This year we will invite two winners of IOP Publishing Quantum Science Awards (https://ioppublishing.org/news/iop-publishing-recognises-the-significant-achievements-of-early-career-quantum-researchers-call-for-nominations-now-open/) to give a special Award Lecture, relating to the research work they have been recognised for, on 14 April 2023 (World Quantum Day). The Webinar will be chaired by Chaoyang Lu, Professor at the University of Science and Technology China (USTC) and the winner of 2017 Fresnel Prize, 2020 Adolph Lomb Medal, 2021 Rolf Landauer and Charles H. Bennett Award in Quantum Computing. IOP Publishing Quantum Science Awards recognise scientific excellence and support the development of young scientists all over the world. Two winners at 2020 IOP Publishing Quantum Science Awards (https://ioppublishing.org/news/iop-publishings-international-quantum-technology-award-winners-are-announced/) were Hannes Bernien (winner of 2022 New Horizons in Physics Prize), University of Chicago, USA, and Nicole Yunger Halpern, Harvard University, USA.
