Workshop on Quantum Computing

The Czech National Competence Centre in HPC invites you to the Workshop on Quantum Computing, scheduled to take place online on December 3, 2025.

The workshop will explore the latest developments in quantum technologies, covering both hardware and software perspectives. Participants will gain insight into the physical systems underlying today’s quantum processors—ranging from superconducting qubits (including the VLQ platform at IT4I) to photonic architectures—and the algorithmic methods designed to work within their noise and scalability constraints. The program will show how to critically evaluate claims of quantum advantage, how innovative circuit designs such as dynamic quantum circuits can reduce computational depth, and how hybrid quantum–classical workflows help address current hardware limitations, including in data-intensive applications. Overall, the workshop offers a concise, interdisciplinary overview of the principles, strategies, and practical challenges that shape today’s and tomorrow’s quantum computing.
