Coinciding with the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ), IFIMAC is organizing a series of talks to commemorate a century of advances in quantum mechanics and its impact on the science and technology of the future.
Throughout these sessions, we will explore different aspects of quantum theory: from its interpretation in condensed matter physics (Quantum Bayesianism – Qbism), to its role in the development of new technologies (Quantum²). We will also discover how quantum light protects information in Hackers vs. Messenger Photons and how many-body systems reveal surprising phenomena in Many-Body Quantum Mechanics: More is Better.
These talks will showcase how quantum principles continue to drive advancements in computing, materials physics, and emerging technologies, shaping the world of the 21st century.
