Exploring the intricacies of quantum entanglement through the art of dance, the Brown University Physics Department’s Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) Committee, helmed by physicist Stephon Alexander, together with the Brown University Theatre Arts Performance Studies (TAPS) Department present SYREN Modern Dance as part of the Physic DIAP’s Artist-in-Residence Series, An Exploration of Quantum Entanglement Through Dance. This event is an immersive and thought-provoking dance performance by New York’s SYREN’s Modern Dance Group on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 5:00 pm (EST).
The interdisciplinarity performance will take the audience on a mesmerizing journey through the world of quantum physics and the quantum mechanical phenomena of entanglement. By merging the science of quantum physics with the beauty of dance, this performance aims to create a unique and unforgettable experience that will inspire and enlighten.
